Lets face it our season hinges on how we do in these three games. I think we have enough talent to win the other games with just workmanlike efforts. Win 3 of 3 and we are headed to the SEC CG. 2 Of 3 and it will depend on who the loss is too and if we get any help. win 1 of the 3 and we are off to a decent bowl game and 9-3 or 8-4 season. Win none and we get a lower tier bowl and alot of unhappy fans. We are capable of running the table and we are capable of 2 to 3 more losses it just depends on how we play and if we can turn it up a notch in the big games. I predicted 9-2 or 10-1 before the season. Still definately within reach. Lets keep it going Tigers.
I think he means 9-3/8-4 after the bowl game... so we would be 8-3 before the bowl. I don't know if that would get us a New Years Day Bowl.
That is why i am depending on workmanlike taking care of business in the Vandy and other games. Because if LSU plays good in these other games they win. Lsu can play good against Auburn, Florida, and Bama and still lose. I dont see a blowout against Vandy but i see a good effort and 31-17 or similar. But your right we cant afford any slip ups against teams we should beat.
I don't like overlooking any of our opponents, except maybe North Texas and App. State. Ole Miss always plays us hard and Arkansas is famous for playing up to their opponents. They're all threats. Remember that Bama only beat Arkansas 24-13 and UF only posted 3 points agains the Tide. I'm not so sure we shouldn't be more worried about the Hogs over the Gators.
Just goes to show you how misleading it is to judge your opponents by their performances versus other teams. You should go into each game with the mentality that this team can be YOU. It's like Saban always insisted, 'The biggest game of the year is the next game we play.'
Why do you guys take one thing out of the post and single it out like that is all i said. If you take the entire post in context it looks at how the season plays out if we win all 3. 2, 1, or none. Of coarse every season depends on how we do in every single game. Now post that in a reply and say damn you sure do like to state the obvious Calco tiger. Gotta get that post count up. No offense but some of you guys just like going around and being sarcastic on other guys post. But no offense meant.
