We don't seem to have a thread predicting the over all outcome of the season. I would like to start off with the ever popular UNDEFEATED UNDISPUTED MNC. 14-0! :thumb: :geauxtige After a close win at an over-rated AU, the offensive line gels and the team starts pummeling teams (including embarrassing Florida). We take over the #1 spot after the win over a hapless Tenn team and defend it in a hard fought win over Bummer. After squeaking by #5 UGA in the SECC, we beat an 11-1 Ohio State team for the MNC. What is your prediction?

For the paper, we have to make predictions, and I predicted us to go 11-1 with the only loss being to Auburn, but Auburn drops 2 games, the last being to Bama (12th week in a row), and we beat Florida for the 2nd time in the SECCG, and win the Sugar Bowl
We lose 2 regular season games, win a tie-breaker and play in SEC game against 2 loss FL, we win and play Florida State in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans and beat them by 20+.
I think anything over 9 wins will be great. However, I have the same kind of feelings this year that I had in '03. Team has enough questions that make you think they will be just pretty good, yet we have enough pure talent to make you think we will be awesome. We'll see which one it is very soon.:thumb:
10-2 Regular season. AU and FL or Tenn losses. Talents great. Questions: O-line, LB's, RB's staying healthy. Things will get really ugly if the O-line is bad and Russells gets nervous and happy feet and somewhat slow decision making. The WR's need to perform too. Auburn could go either way and Florida is still a bit scary if the offense clicks, but I'm not sold on the offense.
