    congrats to marcus and ctj!

    18 players make all-sec (not counting defense or freshmen teams)? kinda diminishes the award.

    i have no idea how chris johnson was all sec defense. he was clearly the gaping hole in the team.

    probably on # of blocks alone. I remember hearing lots of "Blocked by Johnson" during the Arkansas and Ms State away games that weren't televised.

    i would guess youre right. i would expect this from the AP but not coaches.

    dont know who else to put there though. the coaches would i guess.

    They are the only ones with even a remote idea of who plays the best defense.

    Watching your own team you don't say "This is some good defense we are going up against," you say "Our offense SUCKS today!" :lol:

    I want to say that defensive player of the year is almost always a center/PF. Rebound and blocks because there is no stat for "lock down defense."
