    Guys,

Looking for a little feedback, if available. I was added to the waiting list for SECCG tix months ago, and the deal is those selected to get on the list to join the ticket rotation would get emailed in August.

Those who weren't wouldn't get anything.

So, any idea if that's happened yet? Anyone else on the waiting list get a confirmation email? Just wondering. I'll try contacting the conference offices directly, but I didn't see the harm in asking here as well.

    Thanks.

I can't answer your question concerning notification, however, if you are not picked don't sweat it. In 03' I was able to get six tickets from a 'bama fan that buys them every year. There will be plenty floating around.

Even if you don't get tickets, don't sweat it.

I have gotten mine multiple times outside the Dome. Great tickets too at a decent price

This is a problem for the SEC and they know it. Seems as though MOST championship ticket holders do not have season tickets for any SEC team! When the game left Birmingham, the open purchase allowed anyone to buy tickets. LSU and Awbarn fans have been raising heck about the disparity in distribution.

When Atlanta was trying to get the ACC Championship game, some clown in the Atlanta Constitution-Journal last December was featured stating he hated the SEC,was a Georgia Tech ticket buyer, and controlled over 50 tickets. The story hinted that many more stories like that were out there and the ACC was trying make sure ACC fans bought tickets first because Atlanta is an ACC city (kinda like New Orleans is a CUSA city, in someone's dreams?).
