Cutler over Leak is a joke. People are exaggerating the Vandy factor for his INT's and constant mistakes
Williams on the third team at DT? Not a chance. There is a lot of coaches politics in this poll. They can't vote for their players but they can damn sure vote against players whose coaches they oppose. Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn and Alabama each had more players on the team than LSU. Miles just isn't getting much respect . . . yet. Politics can play big role in coach polls By RANDY ROSETTA Advocate sportswriter "Some ramblings while the summer rushes by and football season roars closer and closer... LSU coach Les Miles hasn't been around the Southeastern Conference long enough to make that many enemies, has he? It might seem that way, though, when you look at the SEC Coaches 2005 preseason all-conference team. Fairly or not, most coaches' votes tend to be influenced to some degree by political pull. For example, say a coach who wears a visor and was notorious for running up scores returns to a league that he swaggered through for several years. His players might not get the same consideration as somebody else's players."
Ah, who cares....we led the league last year in Pre-Season All-SEC players and we didn't even win the West
They can have Norwood, Riggs...etc, Joe Addai is going to bring the pain to would be tacklers this year.
Boy, Les is going to grow in stature pretty quickly when he wins the SEC and MNC this year with all of this sub-par talent! (How in the heck are those pesky Commodores out recruiting us anyway?) :yelwink2:
