Bama really needed a top-10 recruiting class to become a contender again. But it must be scary that it's still only #7 in the SEC.
Not really, by all reasoning we shouldn't even be in the top 25 or 30. A couple of more years and we should be able to compete again.
I hate and love it at the same time. How the hell is anyone going to get through this conference unscathed, or even mildly scathed.
We're gonna do like we always have. Beat the crap out of each other and watch ND play patsies all the way to a BCS game.
Saban did much better than I thought he would under the circumstances. Jeremy Elder would never have signed with Shula...:nope: The way I look at it, South Carolina met their needs better than any other SEC program. Georgia got exactly what was needed as well. A solid OL group, a heels-on-fire RB and a speedy 4.5 40 QB. Florida and Tennessee have a lot of fillers. Remains to be seen if they can all step up. Several of the VOL recruits are very very poor students. Fulmer may look good on paper, but I know that Georgia passed over several of their recruits due to uncertain/unresolved eligibility issues. We shall see...
Come on now, you and I both know that a couple of more years isn't good enough for the Bama faithful. I guarantee that some point during next season, y'all will be calling for Saban's head.
