that is my biggest pet peeve.... for 15-20 years i think Stanford has been ranked #1 preseason or during the season at some point. its freaking ridiculous....even after we won the NC and returning most our players they stick us preseason #8 or something. not that i care about any of the rankings til the end but put someone else #1, please. west coast bias in baseball .... seems the east coast bias in hoops is deserved.
