Anyone know if the Media Days are being covered live on radio? Maybe Songy's show on 1210 or by 1300. Was out of pocket today, wife had a outpatient at the Lake, so I didn't get to check. I hope so, cause I'm starved for some football!!!!!!
ESPNU is the only outlet I know of that has live coverage, but ESPN News is also showing some of what ESNPU has. Confidence is high that someone will post the 30 minute or so video from Miles on Friday. Miles’ interviews should be from 9:30 – 11:30 Friday morning. http://www.al.com/mediadays/video/ has copies of video interviews that are different from what ESPNU shows, so you can at least go check those out. It seems that the audio clips from SEC Sports are a third set of different interviews. They also have additional links to the entire transcripts. – LINK So far every story I have seen has quotes from one of the above sources…
Sorry if the videos are slow to load, they’re too big for youtube and I don’t know of a better site. Day 2 highlights from ESPNU: Video LINK Again a short intro on LSU, then select comments from the coaches mostly from questions asked by Louisiana writers. One comment about Saban: He should start a blog, he already has it down to an art of referring to himself as we __________________________________________ A sample of SEC Media Day 1 coverage from ESPNU: Video LINK They did a quick LSU segment, and I added some clips from Spurrier and Tuberville.
LSU at SEC Media Days One set of interviews is for the print media, the other for TV media. I’m not sure which is which, but they are different. Les Miles interview from secsports.com – Audio LINK Les Miles, Early Doucet, and Glenn Dorsey interviews from secsports.com - Written transcript LINK Video interviews from al.com: Les Miles LINK Early Doucet LINK Glenn Dorsey LINK (fixed the link) Q&A session shown on ESPNU - Video LINK Miles came across as calm, confident, and in control. He kind of dodged some questions, but gave good answers to others.
Re: LSU at SEC Media Days I just listened to Orgeron's interview. From the parts I could understand I see why recruits like him. He's a pure football guy, loves the smell of cut grass and thinks that Marcus Tillman is a good looking young man.
Re: LSU at SEC Media Days Yeah, Orgeron is a great recruiter. But I’m going to stick to being an LSU purist in this thread Question 1 about an SEC - PAC Ten matchup in a bowl, questions 2 and 3 about Bama and Saban. Go figure! A later question: “Do you regret saying f’in Alabama, and who wins in a boxing match between you and Saban?” Pretty vanilla answers and no answer on the all important boxing match. Anyway all this will be available in a couple of hours.
Re: LSU at SEC Media Days They are grilling Miles about his previous comments. He hung in there, though. Actually glad we had media day today so we could address all this bs and get it over with.
Re: LSU at SEC Media Days The audio and written transcript links from secsports.com are now good to geaux, see the first post.
