Can Bama fans stomach a 4 spot in the SEC West?

I thought God was coming in to win 11 games right from the start?

On Tidefans, most of them are being fairly realistic. They actually have a poll on this. Funny thing, they think they will lose to FSU and UGA early on, then improve so much that they beat LSU and AU? I think they will finish 3rd in the west, but wouldn't put $$$ on ANYTHING until at least 1/4 thru the season. Not only do I want to see how THEY'RE doing, I wanna see how AU and Arkansas are doing.

I don't see Tennessee winning the east, though. I think UGA has a better chance, maybe even SC. I KNOW UF has a better chance.

I am never very objective about the West. But I can see us winning it with the schedule and talent we have. Basically, I agree with the ranking the article had.

On the East, I agree with Fishhead.....

They'll stomach it this year. They have learned some humility and realism in recent years. But if they are not competing for the SEC championship in year three, the grumbling will get loud and Nick may get happy feet again.

East- Florida or USC depending on if Spurrier's program finally takes off.

    West- Guess.

If you think that ND get's media hype, wait to see what happens if Bama can win their first couple of games w/ Saban. They'll shoot them up to the top ten faster than the irish could ever dream.

I believe the West is LSU's to lose. They'll have to blow a game like this year for someone else to take it. I think Florida will come out on top in the east again. I think they will only have one SEC loss (LSU), and I can't see the others avoiding 2 losses in the SEC.

    SEC West

    LSU
    Auburn
    Arkansas
    Alabama
    Miss State
    Ole Miss

LSU will beat Auburn in BR.
Auburn will beat Arkansas this year.
Ole Miss will lose some close games.
Alabama and LSU will beat Tennessee

    SEC East

    Georgia
    South Carolina
    Florida
    Kentucky
    Tennessee
    Vandy

I simply don't see Tebow as being ready to fully run Florida's offense quite yet. And the Florida Defense has some big holes to fill.
Meanwhile, Stafford now has a year under his belt and the Georgia Defense will be better with Paul Oliver returning and with the young secondary having gained some good experience this year.
Tennessee is at least a year away from being back.
Chris Smelley will do well as the year progresses and South Carolina might just end up with a tie breaker scenario.
