who would have though UK would be in the top spot and florida, who went to the NC game last year, would be in last place. Imagine how they feel.

I agree. I mean, getting a top seed in the SEC tourny has been what us Tiger fans are used to, but does it REALLY matter?? I don't think so--Especially not in baseball it doesn't (*edit* It's beneficial to get a high enough seed to qualify for a bye--but that's usually it).

The goal is to just get in. Personally, I don't care if we're an 8th seed, as long as we're in.

To be honest, things can turn in our favor very quickly. The 6-8th spots are still VERY much within our reach...a couple of teams only have a 2-game lead on us with 2 more conference series to play.

Tigers can take care of Vandy this weekend, and Kentucky can take care of Miss. State. That'll move the team up the ladder enough to help down the line. Tigers WILL get in!

Also, the top teams that are guaranteed a regional don't really try in the tourney- they generally save their pitching. Should give LSU a chance.
