Both Georgia and Arkansas coaches were extremely aggressive in bringing in their best relief pitcher in the 7th inning to shut the door on their opponents. And they were both rewarded with idential 7-5 victories.

So that begs the question, does LSU have anyone that we can rely on to do the same? Or is it bullpen by committee? Who do you trust to shut the door?

I like Determann's mentality and Faircloth's stuff. Smith can be nasty but I dont trust him. If game is on the line Im going with jason.

But you don't see any one pitcher going 3 innings to shut the door do you?

Faircloth has been consistent lately. I'd be comfortable bringing him in the 7th.
