And so we enter the home stretch. There are some who say we should only play tough in the opening rounds so we can secure our regionals and rest the pitching staff. :nope: For shame, Potted Plant. We own this tournament, and I'll not see it fall into the hands of a team who just raised an SEC West Divisional co-champs banner.

Long time fans know the drill but for the uninitiated, beware. This is a double elim. tourney and all games are played on the same field in a halfway decent park in Hoover, AL. If one game runs long (and they always do) start times get pushed back to compensate. Tomorrow looks to be clear, but their is a decent chance of rain for Thursday and the rest of the week. Set aside some time if you plan to catch these games.

Comcast Sports is carrying all opening round games starting at 10am. Fear not, my fellow cajuns. Cox Sports is carrying the LSU game starting at 5pm (but probably later). Radio, of course, is also available from that last bastion of decent rock and roll. Satellite radio listeners should note that a 3rd party broadcast and not team audio is all that will be available throughout the tourney, XM ch 199/ Sirius 216. More info including a stat tracker that doesnt suck and an audio stream of the aforementioned neutral coverage can be found here

    Pitching Matchup
LSU – So. RHP Austin Ross (5-6, 5.07 ERA, 65.2 IP, 15 BB, 58 SO)
    Vanderbilt – TBA

P.S. feel free to cover the other tourney games here as well. no need to start 15 different threads when just 5 will do the job.

I'll be watching tomorrow night but have to travel to Houston on Thursday through the weekend. I hope the chickens are roosting quietly those days.

    Good luck Tigers.

Wasn't there online video last year of the tournament? I could be thinking of Omaha. Audio is working.

Maybe they had video for the Friday double elimination game like they will this year if needed, but best I can remember it was audio only.

So who will be the home team tonight? Is it the high seed, coin toss?
