I disagreed with Senator Wellstone on almost every political issue imaginable. But I respected him because, unlike other Democrats, he was always nice and believed in civil debate, he did not say all Republicans were "evil" simply because they disagreed with him, and he was a man of principle, not a career politician out for glory or ulterior motives. So I am sad for this.
