The Advocate had an article this week saying that the BCS computer polls that are publicized to this point are giving us a lot of love. Two of them had us #1 going into the Tennessee game. We keep winning and we should be in the title picture.
Computers can't see how crazy our wins have been. We should be way higher in the computer's than in the human polls. I bet we are 6 or maybe even fifth when the BCS rankings come out assuming we move up in the coaches poll like we should and get a little love in the Harris Poll
Jeff Sagarin poll. Mods please change the thread title. Ohio State is is probably going to be #1 in this poll. The poll is ordered by that first column, yet the BCS uses the column in red. Ohio State is either #1 or #2 in ELO Chess computation.
That's why the BCS is good. Incorporates the objective and subjective polls. In the eyes of the computers, we've beaten 3 ranked teams and deserve to be highly ranked because of it. We've done more than most other teams in the top 10.
