Should this be a cause for concern for LSU, based on who the ex-coach is for OSU? Looks like a situation similiar to what Spurrier is doing at South Carolina. What type of program was Miles running over there and will it continue at Baton Rouge?

Well, I admit that this isn't something I want to be reading - that's for sure.

But I can't quite tell if this is a situation where Miles left Gundy some problems or Gundy created some problems.

This is absolutely nothing like South Carolina. Any attempt to show it as such is rediculous.

Recruiting to the second fiddle school in Oklahoma is an uphill battle where a coach is probably forced to go after some marginal (in every sense) players he wouldn't go after if he had better options. I don't think he'll have that problem at LSU.

It took an Aubie to show us what we refused to see.

Now, with Amp being run off, it's obvious that Miles needs to go. Why didn't we see this? Why? WHY???

Agreed, OSU has a tad of a history at bringing in some "second chance" kids, especially their BB program. The fact that Miles didn't have to dismiss, what, 9 kids in one season while he was there may speak to his ability to control such things. This is one of those "only time will tell" things.

    This is obviously BS.
We're to think they didn't have to at least workout, "represent the program well" and "play hard!?"

    Get real.

Just food for thought, guys. Not trying to start a war, just stir the pot a bit. When Bowden left and Tubs took over, there was a closet cleaning, so to speak. Not always the coach's fault (in Bowden's case, it was.)

As far as it being the same as SC, I said it was similiar. I should have said it was on a smaller scale.

Settle down old woman. No one said Miles didn't have guidelines in place.

Rules are tough, particularly new ones.
My wife has rules... with new revised rules almost weekly.
I haven't been kicked off the team yet, but I have thought about transferring.
