It seems to me like CLM wants Ryan P on the field more then anyone. To bring in Ro is amazing and a total surprise to me, I never would have thought LM would do something like that. I think it's great and he wants to reward Ryan P. for choosing LSU w/the best chance to start possible. Something tells me that if RP doesn't agree to a red shirt year and doesn't see the field that much he will consider transferring. Something also tells me that CLM told RP that he wanted him to be his starter.

As for Russell, all he has to do is pick up where he left off. I bet he had a great practice session leading up to the bowl game against the Hawkeye’s. That’s why he got as much PT as he did in that game. No doubt in my mind that he finished last season ahead of Randall as far as #1 QB on the team. If I were Russ, I would spend the whole entire off-season working on my legs and watching game tape. There is no reason why he shouldn't get the nod to start the season off as the leader of the Tigers. Red said that RP will only have 3 weeks to prove himself as a starter and if that is true then we could see Russ start it all off.

As for Flynn, I just don't know about this guy. You can be as sharp as a tack but if you don't have the skills to stick into the wall then your just taking up space in the junk draw. I haven’t seen Flynn play all that much and I think Ryan P. has moved past him in the depth chart to #2 QB. I think if Flynn was 25 years old (more mature) then he would be the man but he is as young as the other two guys and they have more natural talent then he does.

When a coach takes over in the NFL, after 3 years, you only see one or two guys that stuck around from the old coach's era. I know College is different b/c you have 20-30 new recruits come in every year as where you only have about 10-15 FA and Rookies in the NFL. IM not sure how many tigers left the team since LM took over but I think it's like 4-5 so far. This all leads to CLM wanting his own recruits in the game. Kids he watched grow in HS, kids HE picked out not Saban. I won't be to shocked to see Ryan P. get some PT this year and NOT red shirt. If MF is a diehard tiger like say J.Vincent is then he will make the team every year and get some PT every now and then. If he wants to start then he might transfer. I think either way Russell will all ways be the #1 or #2 guy so he will stay and have the “may the best man win attitude.” If he gets beat out by RP he will be an injury away from being the starter. No one knows whom the starter will be come N. Texas, but I can't wait to read all about the progressions.

Ryan himself said that Coach Miles told him that he would have just as fair of a shot at getting on the field as everybody else. Miles didn't promise him anything. Miles explained that the QBs struggled last year, and nobody has an unfair starting point going into next year. Ryan wants to get in & get out, he's not going to transfer and have to sit out a year.

HOW CAN PERRILLOUX PASS UP FLYNN WHEN HE ISN'T EVEN ON THE FREAKIN TEAM YET????

The only players that have left our team are players that would have transferred even if Nick had stayed. Miles isn't running anybody off and he's not trying to overhaul Nick's system. Part of why Miles came here is because we are so stocked, not so that he could start from scratch.

Something like a little birdie? Or are you a prophet?

Actually Flynn supposedly had the better practice, and that's why he went in first, albeit for all of a drive or two.

Wait, you're saying at the end of last season, when Randall was gone, Russell was ahead of him on the depth chart? You're kidding! How'd you figure that out?

Let me get this straight. You haven't seen Flynn play much, as none of us have, but JR and RP "have more natural talent than he does"? What are you basing this on, high school stats? Plus Flynn and JR are both a couple of years older than RP, both were sitting on the bench watching a championship season (and learning valuable lessons), and both have college level playing/practice time, which RP at this point doesn't. Age is one thing. Maturity is another. And it's obvious that JR and MF are WAY more mature than RP at this point.

What's your source for this info? The same little birdie?

I'm not trying to rag on you. But it seems as though you've come to a lot of conclusions without really thinking all this through. You're buying into the RP hype. Don't.

You can bet that Reaux will not be working solely with RP. Remember he is good friends with JR & helped recruit JR while he was in Mobile for the senior bowl.

I'm not sure I know what you mean. In fact it's safe to say I don't. However, what I can tell you is that for days I've been looking past my nose at a computer screen, displaying a lot of ignorant posts on this forum, many of which have to do with the unbelievable hype surrounding a certain high school kid who's declared he's going to play football for LSU.

You might think about killing that bird. I think it's messing with your mind.

look past the computer screen and into your heart. MF is the #3 QB on LSU's team and RP didn't even take a class yet.

Okay, here's a question. What exactly is a "hart", and how do you know what's inside mine? Oh, sorry, that's 2 questions.

Dude, get off the hype pipe! Tell me this. Are you over the age of, say 16? Cuz if you're a youngen then these ridiculous comments can be much more easily explained. If not, then you've got serious problems.
