Suddenly, Florida president Bernard Machen is no longer interested in forming a radical and new playoff system outside of the NCAA with money going to all 119 Division I-A schools instead of just the six Bowl Championship Series conferences. "I'm done," Machen announced as he walked out of a much hyped meeting with the 12 Southeastern Conference presidents that closed the four-day spring meetings at the Hilton Sandestin Beach hotel Friday.
