1- USC 2- LSU 3- UF... 16- AU 17- UT 19- UGA 24- S. Car. Here's the link to the top 25 Interesting, South Florida at 25? Couldn't qualify for SEC play.
I was surprised to see Michigan so high after reading this the other day from their site: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;...chiganrunningbacksyearno&prov=uwire&type=lgns
I actually agree with that. Questions that come to mind... Do Rutgers and Boise State deserve to be ranked that high? Arkansas over Auburn? Penn State is a bit under rated in my opinion also.
Well they know they arent going to play anyone and probably come out with a loss or two. This way they can say look I predicted they would be this good and they should get into the BCS. It really irritates me.
Surprises Ohio St. out of the top 10 Arkansas way too high with all the problems and no proven QB. Teams are going to lock in on the RBs and have their way with them this year, IMO.
Boise State's win over OU last season was a shock. Although, I still think back to what happened to them when they decided to visit UGA. Having a couple of teams from the Big East in the top 25 is understandable, but 4 ?!? On Arkansas...Dick does have a little experience and with a receiver like Monk they've got that deep option. NOW, losing 4 on the OL and a weak DL?!?
After watching the Georgia Spring game, I'd have to easily put them in the top 10. I guess that SI is also trying to be nice to Rutgers. Penn Sate is being pushed up by a win over the VOLS who AGAIN didn't bother to show up for their bowl game. :dis:
Yet another mainstream media type that has the Tigers in the top 3...yet there are many here who seem kinda uncomfortable w/ that kinda hype. Weird, eh? Anyway, I'll stick to my guns and predict nothing less than a #3 ranking come August, with a move to #2 after a win against Va Tech (or Florida, at the latest).
