Is anyone else sick of the coverage of Nick Saban here? Constant articles in the Advocate with his picture, and now Cox Sports replayed the Ala. game before LSU's replay Sunday. Are we trying to encourage recruits in this area to think about Bama? Enough is enough, I'm an LSU fan, not a Nick Saban fan. He's gone, lets focus and support LSU and the team and Coach we have now. Nick (I'll always be a Tiger) Saban has no love, ties, or feelings for LSU, he's totally focused and devoted to Bama, we need to return the sentiment and get over it It's time to move on
Yeah, I'll think I'll start a thread on all the lip service he gets.......and give him some more.
good point, I shouldn't be starting a NS thread, but cox replaying the bama game really p.o'd me, jeez enough is enough, he's getting enough play from ESPN and the national media, we don't need it here. but you're right, i'm guilty of it too. doh!!
I'm just ribbin ya. It is a big topic in CFB this year and with his connection.....or rather disconnection, with our fans, it's understandible- though sometimes unbearable. :thumb:
I took it as ribbin, for sure. I get it, but Cox needs to drop that crap. The only Bama replay we need is the Nov. 3rd game, when we break it off in those smug (Got Nick? that's lame!) Gumps
Very much so. I only want to hear his name when LSU plays Bama. LSU media coverage in general is terrible. LSU is the #2 team in America right now, and the Advocate writes stories about Saban?? What's wrong with that picture? Also, Jimmy Ott the Radio "Personalty" needs to go. Ott is actively hurting LSU's recruiting, because he doesn't like Les Miles.
I agree, I tried to call in but didn't get through, I was going to ask him why he was so anti Les Miles, he claims to be objective, but not having anything positve to say about the program other than they're extremely talented (and under performing) is not objective, it's negative. He ranted for an hour about Hester not deserving to start, (and Miles being to loyal to his seniors at the point of not playing the best players) Is he a football coach? How does he know who deserves to start? He wasn't to fond of Saban either, and he's buddies with Dildeaux, so thats a strike against him, too.
It's probably misuse of C'est bon cause it actually means, "It's good" not "He's good", that would be Il est bon.....if my memory serves me right.
Nick is news, just live with it. We can't control what the media reports on. We can control whether we give a damn. I just don't give a damn and I fail to understand the obsession with Nick that some of us have.
