Since all of you are posting on a Website on New Years - What is your excuse

I got to thinking all of us must have some sort of story of why we are sitting behind a computer and posting on an LSU message board 1 1/2 hours before New Years.

Mine, I have a 9 month old and my New Year now consists of watching a baby monitor.. Sad but true.. last year I was three sheets to the wind in some bar in Mandeville. This year sitting in my LSU Media room, watching Brett Farve cry on TV, mad because Miami couldnt cover 3.5 points... Waiting for the stupid clock to read 12:00 so i can go to sleep.

Sad....

Wait this should be on the Round table..

 

Don't recognize New Year's as a legit holiday, and can drink cheaper at the house.

 

I have no life.

 

Well, my case is "sadder" than yours, haha.

I'm simply not going out. Which is strange since (as a college student) I go out at least 3-4 times a week and ALWAYS on the weekends, but... to be honest, I just don't feel like getting sh!tfaced tonight. I was actually reading in the study and realized it WAS New Years Eve, it kind of slipped past me I guess..

 

Well Okie, that's only because there aren't any LSU games on. BTW, I can hardly wait for baseball season, how about you?

 

Family could not get back from Colorado as I-40 was closed do to snow packed roads. So here I sit. Yippee!

 

2 kids - 6 and 2 - enough said

 

Mine are 4 and 2, and they just finished destroying my sister-in-law's house. So we cam home and they are in their rooms doing nothing!

 

Sitting here in Birmingham, ready for the Sugar Bowl. Geaux Tigers! Nice n safe here at home

 

Waiting for midnight to take the kids outside a finish off the fireworks.
