I am a big fan of sat radio and listen to XM many hours a day at home and the office. However, I just got a Sirius receiver(and 1 year sub) for my home to listen to LSU games. I fell for the 'Don't miss a moment of your team's action' ad and really enjoy hearing the Hawthorne broadcast. Reading through Sirius' promo materials, I came away with the understanding that they carried all LSU's home football broadcasts. Plus you get to hear the pre and post game shows which is really nice since I live in Dallas. Worked fine for the #*&#! Tenn game where I got to watch on TV and listen to Hawthorne.

But last week they only carried the MSU broadcast and this week it looks like they only carry the Vandy version. Maybe not a big deal to some fans but I really wanted to hear the home broadcast.

So be forewarned if you are considering getting Sirius for the LSU broadcasts.

Does XM not repeat songs as bad?

I have XM and XM broadcasts all MLB games. They aways broadcast the HOME teams feed. I guess it's the same for your SEC on Sirius.

I started with XM and then tried Sirius about a year ago. Sirius is ten times better. I could care less which teams broadcast I was listening to. All I care about is getting to listen to the game....

If you don't like it, go back to XM where they don't even have the SEC broacasts...

I would if it was the only ticket. Based on the argument here, you would rather not go to the game than sit on the visitors side? That's pathetic if you say yes...

And as Navy said, beggars can't be choosers.

Ok, I can see a couple of people don't understand the point of my post. Let me simplify it a bit....

My goal was to warn other true Tiger fans before they laid out several hundred dollars that they may not get what they expected.

And another thing, a cliche has more impact if it has some revelence to the subject. No Tiger fan I know is a beggar.

I agree- bought sirius just for lsu/saints broadcasts. Can pick them up on lsusports at .00001 kb/s, but was hoping for better with sirius. Prefer XM for everything else.

Oh- if you want to have a good sports forum, why spend the $12 on TF-- i'm sure volnation would be just fine.
