Huh…I thought it was good. It was basically a throwback, bringing Bond back to the basics and reintroducing Mrs. Moneypenny as a character. The classic bond car being thrown into the mix was cool. I like the new “Q”. Personally I thought that bond was way to gadgety before the casino royal remake and I thought the simplicity of this one played into the story line. Too each his own I guess.
Well, if they don't get back to naked girls behind the opening credits, then it ain't a Bond Film to me.
I saw it. It was pretty good. And Red, they do have some naked lady silhouettes in the intro this time. They're not as prominent but they are there.
I thought is was a very good film and worth seeing again. I really like the direction the Bond films with Daniel Criag are going. More down to earth without the ridiculous plots, "comic-book" villans or impossible stunts. They remind me of "From Russia With Love." Realistic characters and plots not to mention a very human Bond instead of the spoofy super hero he became under Moore and Brosnan. Unlike Moore and Brosnan, Daniel Craig plays Bond straight rather than as a spoof of himself. I also like the way the new films depict the evolution of the Bond character. Craig is the best Bond since Connery.
Pretty much how I feel. I really like how they started with Casino Royale to "reboot" the series and now they are basically retelling the story from the beginning. No need for cheesy over the top gadgets , just some good action with a strong plot that keeps you guessing. I’m really glad he has two left and I’m hoping he will go for a couple of more after that.
