Was Skylar cut by Dallas? He didn't showup in the game and he's not on their roster anymore.

I think he's still on the practice squad. He's been in a couple of games this year, but Parcells has been doing a revolving door all year with returners.

Oops, I just read Deek's post. That's too bad. He was one of my favorite Tigers.

He is a class act. Every time I saw him he had a smile on his face and was willing to talk with anyone at the office and sign LSU gear.

    Check out my profile picture.

I thought that Skylar was released, cleared waivers and was probably going to be re-signed to the practice squad. I know he went through this cycle once before this season.

That sucks, Skylar was always one of my favorite Tigers. I thought the coaches really came up short in getting the most out Skylar here at LSU. He is a true gamebreaker, you need to get him the ball more because no one wanted to kick to him. When he was in there everyone knew he was getting a screen pass.

I really thought Skylar was going to make it as a return man with his speed and moves. Hopefully he can regroup and someone will pick him up next year. The Cowboys have a pathetic return game, blocking wise, which I remember them saying was part of the reasons he wasnt ever activated while on the roster. Hopefully another team will reap the reap the rewards. Skylar can do a lot with gimmick type plays. He could be similar to Dante Hall.

I know we all at one time or another (for some, all or most of the time) suffer from wearing our P&G sunshades or drink the proverbial kool aid, especially when it comes to projecting ex LSU players in the NFL.

Skyler in all honesty was a one year wonder at LSU. You go back and analyze his senior season, you have to be honest with yourself and see that it was a disappointment. His stock plummeted because of it.

I think Tirk said he was looking chunky (not sure if that is true), but it goes to show you that to make it in the NFL coming out as a marginal player from college you have to dedicate yourself to getting better.

I hope he makes it somewhere. He obviously has the knack for punt/kick returns. Maybe he can regain the magic at some point. He will forever be remembered for being such an integral part of that 2003 championship team (I still remember that beautiful end around against OU).
