What's probably more noteworthy than Skyler getting a TD is the fact that Drew Henson threw it! :hihi:
Parcells says his receiving skills are mediocre and that he will have to make it as a return man: http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/news/state/15213410.htm Helped himself with the TD though. You never know with Parcells, especially pre-season if he's trying to motivate guys or if he is stating what he believes to be the truth.
I really don't think that will be a problem. Worst case scenario I think he will make it easily as a return man. That seems to be the one thing the NFL has had a shortage of for a number of years. I would like to see him have the ability to do both however.
Well being a return man ain't the end of the world. Brian Mitchell had a great career and some say headed to the HoF. A few breaks and a little playing time and he could be used as a reciever. I would agree with BP you never know, he may just be trying to see if there is a breaking point in SG. The next weeks will tell.
Just posting what Parcells is saying. I obviously hope Skyler makes the team and has a great rookie season, and I agree being a return man isn't bad, if he does very well he will also get payed very well to do that .
No doubt. Rare talent and defined the position for years. If Skyler can be half as good as Mitchell, he'll have a helluva career.
