    First of all you obviously didn't see the interview you just read it they didn't use his whole quote about that question.
    After he said That's not my say-so," Russell said. "The coaches call what they think will work." He also added that its thier (players) job to execute what the coaches called and move the ball and they didn't get it done. So you might not want to jump to conclusions.

    I think you're reading too much into it.

    Maybe he laughed because unlike all of us, the players and team know that there is a lot of football left to be played and they're not going to dwell on this loss?
