I think your play calling is based in large part on who you're playing. The success you have or don't have is based in large part on who you're playing. We ran up large numbers in the first 5 games of the year. It won't be as easy from here on out.
As awesome as this offense is, it is still a work in progress. I could tell over the last three weeks that the offensive staff is trying to develope different aspects of their game along with tweaking and adding things to the playbook. They are trying to put it all together before Nov 9th. Let’s hope they learned more today and take the next two weeks to bring everything together.
I get that, but when the team you are playing biggest strength is stopping the run, why do you keep running up the middle right at them?
I'm not totally convinced that they weren't affected by the weather; that statement includes both teams. It was a very sloppy day in there today and it took a lot of speed and skills away from both teams. But, as my grandfather used to say, "Time will tell and shit will smell"...
