He had his eyes focused on something and had a goofy grin on his face - maybe he was watching Erin Andrews instead of his team.
He surely wasn't confused about where the band was located after the game...and surely wasn't confused about gathering the players together...and surely wasn't confused about singing the alma mater. I watched his face and body language and the interaction he had with the players after the game. I would love to have my kids play for Les Miles. He has his goofy comments and looks...but the guy is pure class!
Of course... they will try to find something "..It wouldn't have been an LSU win without some patented Miles breaks, and in this case, a muffed punt and a sloppy Oregon freshman turned a close game wide open" Read more: LSU Tiger defense makes statement in dismantling of Oregon Ducks - Stewart Mandel - SI.com Who cares.. it is a W against top 5 team. :geaux:
Exactly. Did you notice how he grabbed TM7 and said something to him, then pulled him to the front row for the alma mater? He probably said "great game, I want you with me in the front row". The players love him.
What you fail to realize is that the influence of Miles is so great, he forces the opposing team to make mistakes.
We saw his ability to handle distractions in his first season here. It was a bit different type of distraction but also a huge one. As for running to the wrong side, perfectly understandible when you remember this is a neutral field. It's not like Oregon has "their" side that they saw when they went out for walk-throughs, pre-game warmups, etc.
I didn't get to see the tunnel run out 'live' just a replay they showed (cut to a commercial right after the Ducks waddled out).. but with the way the Tigers were bursting onto the field I thought CLM was just trying to get out of the way for fear of being run over =p~
