    I turned to my friend and said that it's not likely Petrino will simply take a knee, although just about anyone else would in this situation. And of course here they go lining up in an obvious pass formation.

    The camera angle was panned out so you could see the entire field and my only thought (and I actually said it out loud) was "why the hell are we in a standard pass defense, why aren't our safeties deep"?

    And the unthinkable happened.

    Yeah - the same thing happened on my TV, too. It was ugly AND stupid.

    I think Chavis really thought he was gonna take a knee.

    I wonder.

    Watch the replay (if you even can, I know it's tough), but Reid actually bites on the TE over the middle at about the 32 yard line. Egad! Are you kidding me?

    That was one serious braindead defensive play call.

    Even if you think he's going to take a knee, why do you not have a prevent formation called? Arkansas had to advance the ball a good 40 yards to even set up for a FG, assuming the clock didn't tick all the way down to call a timeout.

    Since I decided at 6 seconds to go---to run and finish cleaning the garage before my wife got home you can imagine how I felt (and choice words) when I came back in 20 mins later for the second half kick off.

    It's about the 120th time the joke has been used and there are never any sound effects. That's kinda sad, really.

    That jerkoff CBS broadcaster predicted an Arky knee..bet he felt like an idiot. Knees before halftime, unless in your own redzone, are some of the dumbest things in football. Not quite as dumb as our defensive playcall on the Arky's TD today though. :mad:
