Some coaching changes around the SEC: 1. Mississippi State running backs coach, Shane Beamer, is leaving to take a job coaching outside linebackers and assist with special teams at South Carolina. 2. Ole Miss graduate assistant, David Carrao is the new linebackers coach at Ole Miss replacing David Saunders who was reassigned within the athletic department. 3. New Ole Miss defensive coordinator, John Thompson, will also coach defensive backs. Ole Miss secondary coach Tony Hughes switches to tight ends, and Hugh Freeze, who coached tight ends last year, will coach wide receivers and will continue to serve as recruiting coordinator.
