Decided against fighting the wind and figured there'd be a crowd today through the holiday do opted for a little wading for flounder this morning. Grab some minnows and got knee deep. Wound up with 14. Gave it all i could but couldn't come up with that last one to make a limit.

Ran out of minnows at number 11. Cut the bellies out to use for bait. Caught 3 more on the bellies. There were plenty finger mullet around that I should have caught to use but like a jackleg I left my net sittin on the porch so had to make do.

Only had a very narrow window this morning of maybe 45 min to fish and with the ridiculous wind patterns we are still having of it blowing all of the early morning and calm midday then blowing all evening and night decided to try to get on a few more flounder. So grabbed a few minnows and put a quick 6 flatties, few white trout, and 1 nice spec on ice. Def ready for the wind to get back to normal be calm in the mornings.
