I just wanted to say, if any of you were among the 15,000 or so fans that left with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter, do us all a favor and give your tickets to someone who is worthy to have them. I'm sorry, but I was rather disgusted at the number of people that just "gave up" on the tigers and the staff. They worked really hard for you to have such joy as you had at the end of last season, and for people to just leave to me is rediculous and pathetic. You owe them more respect than that. Those of you who stood in the beating rain and stuck it out till the very end, hats off. You are true fans in every sense of the word. Much respect... hats off to you guys. :helmet: :champs: :helmet:
I can't believe that you are shooting at those people who left. Ultimately, those who stayed got the last laugh and the glory of the come-from-behind victory. Isn't that enough? It would be for me. Those that left screwed themselves. I am sure that almost everyone of those people will never leave a game again when it is a one-possession game. Lesson learned.
YOU WON'T HAVE A SINGLE ONE FESS UP HERE ABOUT LEAVING  I told you guys before ... the six things it takes to win a NC #6 .............. THE FICKLE FINGER OF FATE ... Hey, Barners and bulldawg homers ... let's test your psychic abilities Guess how many Fickle Fingers I'm holding up right now?
I did not make the entire game but left at halftime. Me and my grilfriend sat and cheered in the rain and waited for the game(We also got in when the gates opened and sweated our asses off until the rain). I think there are more thing to complain about today than a few fans that left early. People were wet and cold and for the most part it was a disapointing game. I think personal health and well being is a little more important than footbal. Yeah I would have liked to have stayed but my gf was wet and cold and I'm starting to feel the effects of being in the rain myself. Like I said there are more things to complain about than a few fans leaving early. I think that is awesome that a lot of people stayed but if you paid for your tickets then do what you please with them.
I've said my peace. I don't expect everyone to agree with me and I respect that. I'm done with it now. But I had to get it off my chest... I would have felt the same regardless of the outcome of the game. I walked in with the band, and when I left at the end of the night, I walked with the band back up N. Stadium drive.
I agree too, Swerved. My friends and I stuck it out the whole time. I litterally have no voice, and probably won't be able to talk for days. This was the most intense college football game I've ever been too. The girls we were with were just as hardcore fans as my guy friends. Not one of them contemplated leaving early for a second. GEAUX TIGERS!
I have never left Tiger Stadium until the last tick. Slaughter either way. But especially a close game. Oh I forgot I did bail for the Hurricane Bowl! A butt whippin and a downpour no can do.
