Granted, LSU played horribly on Saturday night. But Billy Packer's smugness about LSU got on my nerves. While Tiger hearts were breaking across Louisiana, what does Packer do? Recalls a game when Pistol Pete's Tigers got blown out by one of UCLA's dynasty teams coached by John Wooden. "Pete scored over forty points that night," said Packer, "but he had over twenty turnovers, too. And the Tigers got ripped apart by the Bruins. It IS a team game." That was in poor taste, I thought. And he made several other comments which indicated that he didn't think this year's LSU team belonged in the Final Four. And to top all that off, he kept referring to Glen Davis as Big Daddy. What did I say before the Final Four.........I said Packer was gonna drive me crazy. Packer is the reason we lost......I'm convinced of it.:grin: How him and Mr. Cliche Nantz are still the lead dudes baffles me.
