I rewatched the game tonight. Specifically the 4th down pass to win the game. Do you know what song was playing in the stadium to get the Arizona crowd pumped up? THUNDER! Methinks they shouldn't have picked that song. It's like Ivan Drago getting pumped to "Eye of the Tiger" before his match with Rocky. It's a badass song, but thats Rocky's song dammit. /still drinking to calm my nerves from Saturday.
No, the fast forward was getting a workout when Arizona State had the ball. I did realize that the defense we ran looked like the classic prevent defenses that the Saints used to run to blow their big leads in the 90's. "Bend but don't Break". We really need to take the Fleur DeLis off of the helmet. I think that the ghosts that curse the Saints are getting confused. Maybe replace it with a symbol that represents Louisiana better.... Perhaps a symbol of a voter getting bent over and taking it from behind. Without the common courtesy of a reacharound.
