    So, if I have this straight, Robert Lane woulda had next to no competition if he'd wanted to fight to get his QB spot back this spring...but he's gonna puss out and go to a Div 1-AA whipping-boy instead.

    Anyways, anyone care to comment on why Nick Saban was gonna waste a scholly on this guy. I guess even great ones like Coach Nick make bad evals from time to time, eh?

    Like father, like son. Lane's father was a hotshot QB out of north La. who came to LSU and couldn't beat out Steve Ensminger or the late David Woodley. So, in a huff, he transferred to what was then Northeast La.

    The Robert Lane attitude thing might hold water if one QB hadn't already quit. For some it seems though they can't get past their own hatred. Coach O is a douche. Expect more players to leave.
