Spurrier isn't sure if this guy will play for them until August...

So....new QB, new RB (possibly), bad OL and bad depth, zero depth at DB

    Bad, Bad season

I'll give sos some credit here, he's been throwing Holtz's players off his team left and right. They are not his kids, but they are his problem, and he's weeding them out even if it decimates his team. Can't say the same for Phil...1 and 2 game suspensions are the norrm for him.

I was sad to see Mr Boyd suspended. However, I am glad that if these young men are not living up to the standards that they are held accountable. C Boyd is a heck of a running back. More of a hitter than speed. He will be missed. It is sad that so many of Lou's players have shown no charachter and have embarrassed the school. However looking around SC is not the only one having issues with its players. :(

I think most fans believe our # of wins will depend greatly on the QB play; that is wide open at this point and talk has it that two freshman coming in may have a chance to start.

That being said we did lose D. Summers for failing drug test; a very highly recruited 5 star back, we also lost a Full back Lamar to grades.

That being said we had the most depth at the running back slot. D thurmon will be a all purpose back; and we have a redshirt freshman that played very well in the spring game and several incoming freshman that are very good.

I think our def will be our strong point this year. If we score 21 points in a game we should win most of those games. QB play is critical for us. I hope a lot of teams overlook us........ we might catch a few off guard.
