1. Except that the jobs are staying in México. The cost of increasing wages is less than the cost of moving the plant. If the jobs were going to Michigan it would be a different argument and likely positive.

  3. @Perple if accurate that was before USMCA so is not germane to my comment. While I have real issues with the UAW they’re not the reason here. They could have moved the factory to a non union state and still have the same result.
    Read the article. It pointed out that raising wages to $16/hr was less expensive than moving the factories. Economics will trump politics

  8. I've always laughed at Texans for the celebration of the Alamo. My wife is from Texas and Texans are historically proud of their state so I enjoy telling her that all they are really celebrating is the worst ass-whipping in military history and the utter stupidity that led to it.
