spring game concert

hey does anyone know about this thing called gridiron bash?? i guess they might throw a concert before the spring game, they're doing it at a bunch of schools but im not sure if LSU is doing it as well...anyone hear anything

 

We arent a part of Gridiron Bash but there are rumors of a concert coming.

Some damn good bands. Hope we get someone decent.

 

i would hope someone is booked soon. all the ones that are booked say 4/18/08 and our spring game is on april 5th.

unless it has nothing to do with our spring game.

 

I didn't even notice the dates. Would be pretty lame unless LSU moved the spring game.

 

i can't imagine that happening. looks like this is not involved with the spring game.

but still if they get someone good, it's probably worth checking out. my wife would be psyched about maroon 5 if they were coming here.

i would've loved to see ZZ top or OAR.

 

I am pretty sure it is based around the spring game and the schools that win the contests involved get scholarship money -- most fans at the game or something along those lines. At least that was one of the original plans.

Also pretty sure the school picks the band that will play, not Gridiron Bash.
