I've heard many rumors about whether we are having a spring game for football or not. I've heard 'no' because of everything going on in the stadium, but others have told me 'yes', saying that we might have it on the practice field. Does anyone have an answer (based on fact, not opinion)? (Sorry if that has been discussed already. I'm new to the board)
there well be a spring game I just don't know when. They couldn't resod the field for some reason so they will have the game.
DD reported on 2/19 that "In football news, Coach Les Miles' LSU team will start Spring practice March 11, and yes there will be a Spring game in Tiger stadium at 11:30 Saturday, April 16. It was announced a few weeks ago that there would not be a Spring game because of redoing the surface at LSU. The resurfacing project turned out to be a bigger job than first expected because of underneath drainage problems that will require opinions of experts in the field. "
The April 16th deal is more of a situational event more than a game itself! But yes we are having something close to a spring game on the 16th as the dealing with the field has been put on hold until after that!
