His deal is for 7 yrs and has a $250, 000 per year buyout (no buyout if Steve just gets tired of coaching and quits).

That's nearly $2 mil for a buyout for a coach who would in effect be quitting on a school he committed to just a few weeks ago.

    Uh, no thanks.

Spurrier has no problem letting people hold his bag. He could be bought out of SC, but just remember his bag problem if he were to ever come to LSU. He would do the same to us. Screw him. I don't want him. I admit I am biased. I don't like him.

    People, let it go.

    Spurrier is not going ANYWHERE

He is happy at USC and has numerous connections within the state/school.

The voice of reason. If Spurrier didn't want to jo b at USC he wouldn't have taken it so quickly. This isn't something that just happened over night.

I don't want him. He is a too old for the job in my opinion. I want someone who can come in, do well and prosper..... someone who can coach here for 10 or more years if things work out well.
