How can other schools get rid of their mediocre basketball coaches but LSU still can't get rid of Brady? Once again LSU misses another opportunity to get a decent coach.

Why would anyone want to coach Kentucky?

One of the top programs in the country is having to fire a coach and you are griping about LSU!? dont you get it? if it happens to Ark and UK, it can and does happen anywhere.

A&M's AD seems dead-set on keeping Gillespie at A&M. I don't know how much that means, but I think it's going to take a huge offer to pull Gillespie away. This guy is a star coach, and could see some Donovan-level success. A&M may very well bring out the big coin, since they've got to deal with Fran the rest of the year. :hihi:

I would rank his possible destinations as:

    1. Michigan
    2. Arkansas
    9. Kentucky.

I kind of agree. While I see reasons for Gillipsie to leave, there are more reasons to stay. He's king at A&M. He's from Texas. He can be a top 2 or 3 player in the Big 12 consistently. He's just gotten the arguably best player in Texas to sign with him for next year's class (DeAndre Jordan). He's playing in front of pack houses (albeit a small house) at A&M... a football school no less.

The only reason to leave is $$$$ and his own ego to move up the "food chain" (although right now I'd debate that Arkansas isn't all that much better), and build an Arkansas program which is a decent base to build off of.

I'll be somewhat shocked if this Gillipsie thing is true.
