Clair this is a new argument i am trying to bait you into.

If you are starting a franchise today in the NBA. Who would you start it with any player or players.

Im going to get Kobe Bryant he is the best in the world.

    Kevin Garnett
    Chauncey Billups
    Tim Duncan
    Carmelo Anthony

I say Kobe because I am a homer.

But when it came down to it probably Dwight Howard because of his age.

    1. Lebron
    2. Dwight Howard
    3. Chris Paul

    I'm obviously heavily factoring age.

    1. Dwight Howard
    2. Lebron
    3. Melo
    4. CP3
    5. Kobe (he is he best in the world, but he won't be the best player in the world in 2-3 years)
    6. Al Jefferson
    7. Brandon Roy
    8. Bosh
    9. Wade
    10. Yao
    11. Durant
    12. Boozer
    13. Amare
    14. Dirk

    (also playing the age angle)

EDIT: I forgot KG, but he would be probably in the 6-9 range.

Coincidentally, I forgot Duncan, too. lol

He would be a little lower than KG.

I'm sorry but can we keep to calling Chris Paul, Chris Paul?

    CP3 is gay.

With that said , I would choose Christopher Paul.

name me a marketable player that doesn't have a nickname.

you don't live in Louisiana, but if you did, you'd know that pretty much everyone here calls him CP3 as his name. lol

like Shaq is for Shaquille O'Neal.
