Starting to realize, even more, Guilbeau wants nothing more but to tick you off..

    and daily he reminds me more and more of Finebaum. Well, minus the ratings, history, married to a Dr., etc...and I could go on.

    Looking for the spot light? I'd say so...and wanting to get back into what we call "main stream media" is a given, I'd say.

    All that being said, this blog of his is intended to do one and one thing only, inflame the LSU fan base.

    Oh, and one more thing, the Daily Advertiser sounds like a paper you get for free at the grocery store...am I right?

    It should be free because all they talk about in the sports "section" is STM and Teurlings "perfect season". correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't a perfect season be 15-0? and not 11-1?

    I definitely didn't mean it that way tiga...just shocked at what he was writing at this time of the season!

    Sorry if you took it that way!

    As to Sabanfan... toilet paper is just too cheap to resort to using newspapers...unless, he lives like the unibomber?!?

    His thing is to be controversial. It cost him his job on the big Baton Rouge paper and his bitterness shows. My prediction is that it will eventually cost him his job at the three small Gannet newspapers he writes for now. He hurts recruiting and the fans don't like it.

    He's a pain, but the good side is that he keeps the other local sportswriters from becoming total homers. I remember times when we read nothing in the paper except what the coach wanted them to write. If Guilbeau didn't exist, we'd have to invent him.

    Sadly it's the Lafayette daily paper.

    I actually emailed Guilbeau once inquiring about one of his typical anti LSU articles. He actually answered with an "I must be dreaming" type response. I think just ignoring him and let LSU football do the talking on the field. If we continue winning, he'll have no choice but to eat his words. :dis:

    Thank goodness we can get the Advocate here. In addition to being nothing more than a sh*t stirrer, Guilbeau is a very poor writer. I've ceased reading his alleged articles, there just is no point in doing it. At least Finebaum at times displays some entertainment value, Guilbeau, none.

    The Daily Fertilizer is THE newspaper around these parts. Speaking on behalf of toilet paper everywhere, I condemn you for putting them in that class. Guilblow? He's a clown and needs to have that smirk wiped off his face by an LSU fan. May I suggest Clete Purcel :D
