I know that the chance of Saban staying is less than 50 percent, but I think that we have a chance.

He may be just taking this time to talk his family and associates into acceptance of a decision that he has already made.

He may simply wish to tell his players FIRST that he's decided to go.

OR he may yet be persuaded by wife and daughter that life is very good in BR, and that it's best NOT to roll the dice on enjoying the good life in Miami.

Wife and daughter are RIGHT. There is no guarantee that life will be better in Miami. In fact, I'll bet that BR is better for "salt of the earth" people like the Saban family.

Remember how Nick likes to describe himself as a simple hillbilly from West Virginia? If that's true, then I'd have to say that life is going to be better in BR than in Miami. They don't think much of Cajuns and Hillbillys in Miami.

    Yeah, I could handle that.

    Nick Saban couldn't handle that.

I, of course, INVENTED that sort of fun during my carefree days as a raider of merchant shipping off of that Miami coastline.
