Steve Ensminger to LSU as TE Coach?

Hearing that Steve will be returning to LSU as the TE coach. Have you picked up any noise on this from your end?

He would be giving up his QB coach job at Smiths Station HS that he got last week, but you will be getting a good coach. Guess he finally makes it home.

He was probably our best recruiter.

 

Did Henson leave?

Thanks. He was regarded as a hell of a recruiter. Somebody has some big shoes to fill.

 

That's one hell of a resume for a tight ends coach! I've talked to him a time or two while he was at West Monroe. I always liked him. I believe it's a good hire.

 

Henson left because he felt slighted over what was reportedly offered to Orgeron to try to lure him here.

 

So it's final? If so, I agree. GREAT hire, and WB!

 

I don't know that it is final, but I heard it was heading in that direction. I was trying to find out if you were hearing anything from this side to help firm up the speculation.

It would be a great add for LSU.
