1. So for my laptop background at the start of football season I had a Saints wallpaper of the team celebrating after blocking that punt against the Falcons last year. The Saints started 0-4.
After LSU beat Florida, I changed this background to a pic of Dorsey and Beckwith tackling Tebow. The next week the Tigers lost to Kentucky.
    What?
So I decided to attempt the reverse jinx. For the Auburn game, I put an Auburn wallpaper up and LSU won. I tried it again on Sunday, putting a pic of Joe Horn in Falcons gear as my laptop background. Saints won.
This worked again last Sunday when I had a nice Alex Smith 49ers pic on my computer.
So far this season, teams are 0-8 when they are featured on gameday as my laptop wallpaper.
You better believe there will be a Bama pic on display this Saturday.
What kinds of superstition tactics do you employ on gameday to help the Tigers get that victory?
  2. There is not enough money or drugs in this world for me to try this.
  3. I don't *watch* the game :p I have it on in the living room loud enough to hear it in the office where I'm sitting in the chat room with you guys that aren't *at* the game... and constantly asking 'what?! what?! what happened?!'

Unfortunately I feel quite responsible for the loss to UK since I did run into the living room and watched the 3 OT's.
  4. I'll take part of the blame. I wasn't wearing my LSU shirt the day of the kentucky game.

  5. speaking of wallpaper's, Where is Six3's for the week?
  6. I "never" watch the kickoff...never ever...seems like every time I do the Tigers lose...watch it on replay...LOL

  7. I have my lucky boxer briefs...I only wear them for the LSU games and don't wash them unless they lose :insane: :D
  8. I don't wash my socks or underware for days, whenever LSU has a big one and I wear them to the game. It works! Needless to say I am not popular at the tail gates. Who cares as long as the Tigers win. No high fives for me.
  9. I changed the background on my phone from an LSU cheerleader holding up a "GEAUX" sign to the tiger eye in the middle of the field right before the Kentucky game. :angryfire Needless to say, I changed it back the next day when I realized what had happened and we won the Auburn game. I apologize to all of you and promise it will NOT change again until after we win the National Championship Game.:thumb:
