Because: 1) He has yet to show he is actually a bad coach 2) He has been a very succesful recruiter considering( The early restrictions, being in the shadow of football). 3) There are schools that are in much worse positions than we are. 4)We have a good record this season
He recruited the #1 class this season and every year he is improving his conference record. Plus he is still the coach of this school. I will support him until Skip tells me he is no longer the coach at this LSU. BTW why are we getting on Brady so much. The LSU soccer team was terrible this past season going 2-7 in SEC play. Why is there no tread calling for George Fotopoulos head.
Brady has proved he can win under strict sanctions with only 5 scholarship players Brady has improved in the SEC every year in the past 3 years Brady has the #1 recruiting class in the nation last year Brady is going to make the NCAA tournament 2 years in a row Brady is in his first year off sanctions; he had only one scholarship last year; he is still winning Brady is better than at least 75% of his fellow SEC coaches--pretty good for the 2nd best conference in the nation Brady is bringing in another top 20 player next year and will probably bring in the #1 player in the nation in 2 seasons Brady will be coaching for an SEC title and final 4 appearance in 2 years
He is a coach for LSU basketball at the worst circumstance. He makes LSU competitive again so what is wrong with you bashers. The guy is a champion in my heart. The brady bashers should move to tigerdropping message board since there are many nerds overthere calling for Brady head.
Also, I suggest for all who are Brady bashers to take a look at programs like Rhode Island and St. Johns. Sometimes you guys act like that is where our program is. Take a step back and look at where we are and where they are.
Like I said in the other post I'm not for or against him. Bradys biggest problem is he hasn't proven himself as a big time SEC coach yet. We will find that out soon enough. I do hope he does well because I think he would be loyal to LSU and be here a while. The only thing I haven't been happy with is the inconsistant play of the team. They played thier best game against Kentucky IMO. Everyone says they are young but what about other freshman of the past when this team was young? I'll name a few freshman....... Clearance Ceaser, Vernal Singleton, John Williams, Rudy Macklin, Wayne Sims. I'm sure theres more but these guys had impacts as a freshman, I didn't put in Shaq, CJ or Stanley Roberts because thier on a whole different level than these guys IMO
Did any of the above mentioned freshman went to final four in their freshman year. I dont think so. If I'm remeber correctly only Leanard Marshall went to the final four in his freshman years & his teamate are all seniors.
This team hasn't made the final four yet but your missing my point. What has the final four to do with anything? I'm saying freshman can have an impact and show up to play more consistantly, that is all, I don't buy the too young argument. These are all former freshman that played consistantly and BIG in a lot of games. Leanard Marshall probably wasn't the best example.
