Tellshow just stated that if Marshall and Troy State do not back out, we are already in second place! Nice job PRICKS.

Also, if we simply do not play Western Illinois and play the same number of games USC does, we are in MUCH better shape. Yeah, the BCS makes tons of sense. Win an extra game against a shitty oppenent and bend over and take it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE MAN'S BIG MESSAGE IS THIS:

I thought I would forward this e-mail I received from Anderson Sports.

    > Miami of Ohio benefitted a great deal from Bowling
    > Green's win over Toledo, which vaulted Bowling Green
    > (a previous Miami of Ohio opponent) into the top-25.
    > But the RedHawks have very, very little chance of

So I think we can with more confidence that if ND and Hawaii win USC will be #2.

Looks like Jeff Sagarin is the only one to post USC with a #4 tag.
The Wolfe poll will be critical ... still looks like 17 points for USC
and a 2.83 Comp poll average ... not high enough for LSU to do it
If USC gets 18 points and LSU takes #2 in the Wolfe ... maybe.

Hawaii will not win....It's the only game I have counted on LSU's side of the board. The other 2 are up for grabs. That's why a Bowling Green victory tonight becomes crucial. Then we do not need Syracuse to win anymore.

Man, I hope you're right about Hawaii, but I sure didn't think they'd win last week, either.

Wish that game was up in Boise.

We are the ones that bailed on Troy State. We wanted to move their game up a week but they couldn't accomadate us so it was moved to another year and we added ULM.

We should have never scheduled 12 games to begin with, never should have had W. Illinois (Div II-A) on our schedule. Did you guys know that only losses by W. Illinois count, not the wins. It's the worst kind of team you can schedule. It's our damn fault on that one. Should have just dropped that damn game off the schedule.

That's what I think is the biggest flaw in the whole SOS thinking. So they are going to tell me that we are a WORSE team because we played Western Illinois rather than if we had played no game at all? That makes a lot of sense. Win an extra game and bring yourself down, gotta love the BCS.
