1. It is past time to reward McGee with more playing time. He looks like he is in a different gear right now - he runs tough, he is very quick, and has good hands. He makes the perfect complement to Hill.

Moreover, he seems to be a team-first guy who brings top effort every single play.

LSU has a lot of talent at RB, but McGee is clearly the second part of the 1-2 punch with Hill we need.

    GEAUX TIGERS
  2. He was also running against a beat up Kent State defense, but I agree he looks like the 2nd best back in this team by a good bit.
  3. McGee looks great, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him as the solid #2 guy next week.
  4. Blue is still a great running back.

So let's just agree LSU has 3 stud running backs at this point.
  5. What about Hilliard ???
  6. We have 4 starting running backs and only 1 football, whatever shall we do?

    First world problems.

  7. Good problem to have.
  8. We have 3 starting running backs and 1 guy who is from another planet when the ball is in his hands.
  9. I wouldn't want to see Hilliard on the field in the meat of the SEC schedule to be honest. And I'm speaking strictly about putting your very best out there. Hilliard is a distant 4th right now. Maybe you run him behind a fullback on 3rd and short. Not much more than that at this point. He's just not the same running back he was back in 2011.
  10. I gotta say I loved Blue's jump and stretch the ball out move. I've missed our running backs being like OMG GONNA FLY INTO THE END ZONE LIKE SUPERMAN from 2011 :)
