Pac-12 Conference decides it won't expand further - ESPN

So what now? Oklahoma doesn't really like the Texas deal in the Big-12 and the Pac-12 isn't going to let Texas come in and dictate terms. And will this stop the drive to expand the SEC? Or is this all just a temporary bump as "negotiations" continue. :insane:
  2. The only way Texas would do that would be if they had to because they were left out in the cold. Could that happen? I guess, if OU can find somewhere to bolt to. OU is raising their own stink at this very moment. They want the Longhorn network deal redefined and the Big-12 Commisioner (Beebe) removed. Suddenly, the Big-12 is a mess and very unstable.
  3. What do you expect from that arrogant bunch? After all they are the ones that started the dismantling of the Big 12.
  4. One can only hope.
  5. Texas ruined the SWC. Now it's spoiling the Big 12. Where does it end? Texas is that beautiful girl with the bad reputation. You know she's no good, but when she bats her eyes at you, you are smitten. Then your wallet disappears.
  6. the best thing the lil 9 could do is get rid of beebe. his bending over for texass helped fuel this whole cluster for the conference. it is three schools too late, but the only way that conference can be saved is with a new commish.

but now that ou/osu/tech seemingly have no real options for leaving the lil 9, who knows if the conf has the cajones to remove beebe. it was the remove him or else insistance from ou (finally) that gave hope his sorry ass would finally be gone.
  7. Actually they are doing what they can to keep the big 12 together. The only way this happens is if tln is reeled in. OU is pissed because of the lack of leadership shown by Bebe going back to last year with Nebraska and Colorado. He (bebe) let ut have whatever it wanted. I expect a bebe firing really soon.

As for tln, they will have to restructure the deal regardless of where it goes. Except the ACC.
