CSF has early 3-0 lead bottom of the 2nd.

This is CSF's #2 pitcher Rickey Romero against Texas's #1 JP Howell.

Texas can forget it if they lose this game. Go CSF!

The way it's going, this game tonight is GREAT for college baseball. It's exciting and intense and may pick up the casual sports fan as a viewer. I would love to see nationally telecast college basebal games during the regular season become normal.

Well the pitching matchups were definitely intriguing coming into this.

This is definitely good for college baseball.

CSF tags the GREAT Texas bullpen for 3 runs in the top of the 7th. I am just not that impressed with Huston Street. He's good, but he isn't that dominant strikeout closer that you need in these situations. I just think that a pitcher who doesn't have the strikeout stuff gets too many balls into play and hits and errors occur eventually.

6-4 bottom of the 7th, CSF.

It's CSF's title to win right here, right now.

Wow, CSF's not so great bullpen pulled it off. They held Texas scoreless for the last 2 1/3 innings.

Texas bullpen, 4 IP, 3 Runs
    CSF bullpen, 2 1/3 IP, 0 Runs

UT will be pondering what if this entire off season.

Windsor will close it out tomorrow for CSF. It's over.

    I am happy.

I found it tough to decide who to root against. I didn't want to pull for the Wronghorns. I don't hate CSF like I do most California teams but its still hard to be for any team from the left coast.

Longhorns are tied with LSU for 2nd most NCs in baseball. I don't want to drop to 3rd place. Easy choice.
Funny how that little prick, Churchill, is nowhere around right now.
